Premier Excavating was founded in 2017 when Scott Maurice chose to strike out on his own after a number of years of working for other contractors and building custom homes. A problem solver by nature, when he noticed that there were issues getting excavation services for the jobs he was working on, he solved the problem by purchasing the excavation equipment himself. From starting out with one machine, a truck, and a trailer and working alone, Scott now has multiple employees and machines – and is still “hands on” with every job.

We serve residential and commercial clients – no job is too big or too small for our crew. Our clients understand that we’re all about quality – not quantity. We’d rather do the job right, even if it takes a little longer than doing a lesser quality job.
