Jocelyn, the owner and creative mind behind Willow Rose Beads is an award winning artist from Treaty 6, Region 4, of the Métis Nation of Alberta. Her journey was sparked through the combined love of family, learning, and creating. Jocelyn completed her first beaded piece in 2017 and felt an instant connection to the beads and her Cree-Métis heritage. Her learning continues, and she's grateful to many family members, Elders, mentors, and friends. It is important to her that she creates in a good way and from a place of gratitude. Jocelyn wants each piece to carry her good thoughts and prayers to whomever ends up wearing them.
